Bauer would be best suited for my magazine. Due to its successful publishing of Kerrang! and Q magazine, Bauer would be able to get my magazine on the shelves of popular retailers. This is because, while there is not a gap in the market for rock magazine, Kerrang! being one of the most successful, there is a growing trend of the rock music genre in a younger demographic, Therefore a magazine tailored towards them would pull teenagers into buying magazines rather than just looking online.
DEMAND's website is a crucial part of the marketing process. Teenagers tend to love the internet, so online advertisements and short videos on mobile applications draw in the audience that is desired.
A downside to going with such a large publisher is the lack of control over the product. If Bauer wanted to change the product, they would be eligible to do so. However, this is not only a negative proposition, Bauer made other magazine successful so if they must change the magazine it would be for the better. The demographic is largely teens rather than adults, therefore there is less competition with other magazines. DEMAND could be some in schools and other places of education, also at indoor parks and other hangout places for that age group to maximise sales and acknowledgement of the product.
