My advertisers’ mood board has lots of logos from different companies tailored towards my target audience. It contains a variety of different types of company such as search engines, music bands, vehicles, food, drink and entertainment.
Somewhere such as Nando’s or another restaurant would advertise in my magazine to get people to go to there. If the magazine offered a coupon for a half price main course, for example, that person could bring their family and therefor they have got more business they wouldn’t have done otherwise. Alternatively, it will provide recognition for the establishment, people will become aware and want to eat there.
Home entertainment companies like PlayStation may want to advertise in my rock magazine because they have games such as rock band and guitar hero that would interest the reader and promote sales for them. The same reason applies for drink companies and people looking to sell products such as beats audio.
