Audience questionnaire analysis

Questionnaire review



I will design my college magazine off the results from the questionnaire.
90% of our potential audience said that they do not currently read a college magazine. This would mean there is a large audience with little competition or that we might not reach the ideal target audience. 75% would be willing to pay 50p - £1 every fortnight for the college magazine.
The colours black, white, red and blue were most popular amongst the target audience so I will include these in the colour scheme. Also 80% would like a student or a student’s work on the front cover of the magazine. The most popular contents for the magazine are college events, technology, a jobs page and a gig guide for local music concerts. These will be featured on the cover page as the cover lines to make people want to purchase the magazine.

I will include a web address and offer online subscription on the contents page because 50% of the audience would like to subscribe. This should hopefully draw some of the people who said no in to the online version and make money online for a discounted price. Also 85% would like freebies with the magazine. This is because they will think they are getting their money back if the save the money they spent of a free or discounted item.
